Description
Increased Performance. The Daystar Suspension Body Lift Kit offers a 1-Inch lift over stock ride height, but that’s more than enough to make a significant difference. Although this is by no means a hardcore off-road lift kit, the benefits are immediately visible even on a light off-road trail. Bottoming out becomes less of an issue and the increased driving position is a great bonus as well.
Stock Road Handling. Because this lift kit only raises your Jeep by 1 Inch, you shouldn’t notice any real difference in terms of road manners and capabilities. The center of gravity will remain roughly the same and so will the vehicle’s cornering dynamics. This is the ideal lift kit if you want a slight increase in ride height but don’t plan on doing any hardcore off-roading.
Better Longevity. This kit comes with polyurethane body mounts that are 1 Inch taller than the factory body mounts. Because of their construction and compound, they’re much more durable than the stock mounts. On average, they last 3 times longer than the factory body mounts. They’re also vehicle fluid and road grime resistant, making them superior to OEM body mounts.
Ready to go out of the box. The Daystar lift kit ships out with all the necessary mounts, bolts, and sleeves needed to install it.
Simple Installation Process. The installation process is relatively easy and simple, requiring no welding. According to Daystar’s mounting instructions, you’ll need a floor jack, a drill, a vise, a hammer, and some simple hand tools to complete the entire process.
Application. This Daystar Suspension Lift Kit is designed for all 1980-1986 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7.
