Note: This cab cover is easy to install and is designed to fit with the Jeep top removed. It will not fit with a hard top in place or a soft top in the up position. It will fit with a soft top folded down as shown in these instructions. This cover will fit with doors in place or removed.
1. If doors are in place fold your mirror inward on both sides.
2. Remove the cover from the bag.
3. And unroll the cover. Notice how tightly it is folded as you will want to be able to get it back in the bag for storage.
4. Locate the end of the cover that has 2 straps and folds to tuck into the tub rails. This is the back of the cover.
5. Completely unfold the cover and place it over the cab. Pull it down in front and place your wipers on top of the cover.
6. Starting on the sides hook the straps under the sides of the Jeep. These are designed to fit on the pinch weld so if you have steps or Rubi rails these will be a tight fit.
7. Repeat on the other side. Do not tighten at this time.
8. With the sides secured move to the back. Now the fun begins if your folded top is still on the Jeep.
9. Starting at the front tuck the side into the tub channel.
10. Work your way back. This will be a tight fit. If your top is still in place you may need to push it down into the tub some.
11. Tuck in the corner as shown.
12. Repeat this procedure on the other side. Once both sides are tucked into the tub rails hook the tailgate straps under the tail gate.
Tighten both rear straps.
13. Check and tighten all straps. There you have it. Looking good and ready for that sudden storm or shower.
14. Now let’s fold it up so it will fit back into the bag. Let’s do that without taking it off the Jeep. This way it doesn’t have to lay on the ground. Unhook all the straps and start at the front.
Fold the cover back working side to side.
15. Working your way back keep your folds tight remembering the size of the bag and fold neatly.
16. Stop folding back when you reach the end of the roll cage.
17. And fold the rear forward.
18. Now roll the cover up while it’s sitting on the top or tub. Roll as tight as possible.
19. This makes it simple to reinstall. You can roll across the back and unfold rear to front.
20. And now it will fit back into the bag.
That’s it. Enjoy the look and function of your RT Off-Road Waterproof Cab Cover. The bag is small enough to keep in the Jeep so you’re ready for that sudden storm or shower anytime.
