1. Use a standard (flat head) screwdriver or power screwdriver with 5/16 socket to loosen the screws on the hose clamps that secure the air hose to the throttle body and airbox.
2. You can remove the air sensor or leave it attached to the air hose. Be careful not to damage the sensor taking it out or placing it back into the air hose.
3. Remove the four bolts securing the throttle body to the intake manifold using a 5/16 socket. These bolts will be replaced with the longer ones that are supplied with the new throttle body spacer.
4. Pull the throttle body away from the intake manifold. Place the lose throttle body so that it does not fall.
5. With the supplied four long bolts and four washers. Place a wash on to each bolt.
6. Place the throttle body spacer against the intake manifold and cork gasket facing the throttle body. Now place the throttle body against the cork gasket and start to thread the bolts with washers through the throttle body spacer and into the intake manifold.
7. Tighten the bolts making sure not to overtighten as you could damage the throttle body.
8. Reattach the air hose to the throttle body and air box. Tighten the hose clamps with the standard (flat head) screwdriver or power screwdriver with 5/16 socket.
