Description

As this is designed specifically to improve your steering by replacing the original factory-fitted component, there are no issues with interference or incompatibility. Try it now for more accurate and exhilarating off-road driving.
Excellent Construction. This Drop Pitman Arm is made from high quality steel, which is tough enough to withstand any off-road driving.
No Bump Steer. This Pitman Arm will lift your Jeep with the added advantage of reducing the operating angle of the drag link. It means that your steering will feel greatly improved and you will experience less wear on any of the other steering components. This is because it addresses the issue of steering angles perfectly, which means you will not experience bump steer or any reduction in your turning radius.
Installation. This Pitman Arm requires professional installation or at the very least someone with mechanical expertise, and it should take around 4 hours to complete.
Twelve-Month/12,000-mile Warranty. You get a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the original purchaser.

Works on YJ with P/S as well
1992 Jeep YJ with SOA conversion. OEM height springs but with slightly taller anti-rap perches, stock height shackles. The Jeep already had a 4.5” drop pitman but with the SOA lift, the bump steer was a bit annoying. This pitman arm has 5” of drop and reduces the drag link/tie rod to a more acceptable angle. Bump steer is now barely noticeable. I often use the Jeep as a daily driver and this is a perfect interim solution while waiting to do a high steer setup. Does not interfere with springs at full deflection. Would probably work fine with SUA.

Replaced my 30 year old shackles with these, they are smooth and give excellent articulation. Paired with disconnecting sway bar links I can climb obstacles with ease

100% Satisfied
They were easy to install and did raise my YJ Jeep 1”. I was somewhat worried I wouldn’t get the right lift. My old shackles measured 4” from center of hole to hole. The new greasable shackles from Extreme Terrain measured 5” center to center. I couldn’t be more happier.

Nice addition!
These Shackles are a nice fit, work well and if torqued correctly move and function well. Being greaseable just makes them that much more desirable. The price was exceptional, best money spent. They actually lifted my Wrangler 1" overall front and rear.
