Transfer the Power. Why do you need Crown Automotive’s Jeep Wrangler Transfer Case Slip Yoke? If your vehicle’s slip yoke is damaged, it can’t transfer power from the transfer case to the driveshaft. That leads to faltering performance as you struggle to get your engine’s power onto the ground. This direct replacement part connects to your driveshaft using a Spicer 1310 U-Joint, which is sold separately if you don’t have your stock original.
Quality Construction. By following the OEM specifications to the letter, Crown has created a slip yoke that is just as sturdy as your factory original. Made using rugged steel, this part is tough enough to withstand the constant motion required of a slip yoke.
Direct Installation. No cutting or welding is needed to fit this part as it’s a like-for-like replacement part. You will need a Spicer 1310 U-Joint to attach the yoke to your driveshaft. Professional installation is recommended in most cases.
Variable Warranty. Crown Automotive guarantees that this yoke will be free of manufacturing and material defects for 1 year or 12,000 miles. If you find any defects during these periods, you’re entitled to return the part for repair or replacement. Exclusions related to user damage and misuse apply to this warranty.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler Transfer Case Slip Yoke is designed for installation into Jeep Wrangler YJ vehicles built between 1987-1995. It’s compatible with New Process’s 247 and 249 series of transfer cases.
Installation Difficulty. Fitting this slip yoke takes about 2-3 hours and requires an advanced understanding of your vehicle’s inner workings.
