Replace A Worn Or Damaged Tie Rod End. Over years of regular service, components of the steering system of your Jeep Wrangler YJ will begin to face wear and tear, warranting a replacement. One exceptionally wear-prone area of the steering system is the steering linkage and tie rods. Protected by rubber boots that are known to crack and deteriorate over time, most OE components have either ejected all of their greases or picked up enough contaminants to slowly eat away at the joint’s bearing surfaces, causing excessive play and a loose, unsatisfactory steering feel. To restore some of your Jeep’s lost driveability and steering feel, start by replacing the tie rods.
Direct-Fit, OE-Style Part. This Tie Rod is manufactured to OE-Specifications for fit, finish, and functionality that meets or exceeds the original. Additionally, It is designed to be installed directly in place of the original part without any additional hardware or modification.
Upgraded Design. With the inclusion of a grease fitting, this tie rod end is fully serviceable. On a scheduled interval, simply pump out the old grease by filling the joint at the zerk fitting to flush out any contaminants and make sure the joint is properly lubricated, guaranteeing a long and reliable service life.
Includes Hardware For Installation. Each tie rod end comes equipped with a zerk fitting, new castle nut, and new cotter pin, everything necessary for a full and proper installation.
Warranty. A 12-Month, 12,000-Mile Warranty backs this product against defects in manufacturing and workmanship.
