This hood catch kit includes everything you need to replace the worn-out or cracked hood catch on your Wrangler. Likewise, its OE design can be used on either the driver or passenger side, making this assembly ideal for your repair or restoration project. Best of all, this assembly’s high-grade rubber construction makes it sturdy enough to provide outstanding performance for years.
Sturdy Build Quality. This hood catch kit’s hold down is molded from specially formulated rubber, making it highly durable and resistant to deterioration over time. Similarly, its base, clip, and catch bracket are molded to OE specifications from sturdy automotive-grade plastic, offering a factory fit. What’s more, this kit is available in black, allowing it to restore the look of the factory original.
Straightforward Installation. This hood catch kit is designed as a direct replacement for your Wrangler’s hood catch, including the catch bracket. Furthermore, this assembly installs in factory locations without the need for additional modifications. It is suggested though that you first clean the mounting surfaces on the hood and fender of dirt and debris to prevent these from scratching the finish.

High quality
I definitely am glad that I purchased these for my 2000 Jeep, TJ, when I got the vehicle it was really sketchy driving down the freeway. I always felt like the hood was going to come open, so immediately I purchase these and once I receive them, they only took about 10 minutes to install, and the hood does not move any longer. It’s definitely high quality material and I recommend this upgrade to any jeep TJ owner.

Fits tight and snug
Fit really nice. As brand new I can barely latch the hood now. So zero flutter. The question is will they last more than a year before they loosen enough to cause flutter again. For the price I guess I can replace every two years
