Description
Keep Spinning. While they are small, bearings do an important job by keeping your Dana 30 axle and wheels spinning smoothly. When they are worn out or damaged, the friction that results causes damage. The good thing is that they sometimes give you a warning that they are beginning to fail. You may hear some screeching or grinding noises that signal you to check for a problem. These Front Hub Bearing & Seal Kit keeps your wheels spinning freely on your Wrangler without causing friction or wear on your axle.
Premium Components. This bearing and seal kit features strong metal tapered bearings and cups that they spin within. The durable rubber seals work to keep the lubricant where it belongs to prevent seizing and damage to your new bearings.
Special Tools Recommended. It is recommended that a hydraulic press be used when installing this front hub bearing & seal kit. One kit will replace either the front left or right-side hub. You will need to purchase two kits to do both hubs. Existing hardware is reused with this application.
Warranty Info. This bearing and seal kit is covered by Manufacturer's 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty.

Looks freaking awesome never new that it was supposed to be silver, I thought it was gold! but I guess my original had been in California heat to long love this replacement makes the interior one step closer to full restoration

Great
Had to replace my throwout bearing. Bought this kit to do it all while my transmission was dropped. Kit worked great fits perfectly on my 94 YJ. Would recommend. Only issue was it doesn't include the fork clip so I had to reuse the old one. Would be a nice addition.

looked everywhere for this part, finally found it and sent it to my dad in the Virgin Islands. he had a friend with a shop install the part and the YJ's been chillin at the Beach ever since. Thank guys!!

NP 231 like new again !
Included all bearings, seals, and retainers to rebuild the NP231J to like new. Downloading a service manual really helped with the disassembly and installation of the new bearing. Don't forget to put the new oil pump pickup screen in and don't panic, you will have some parts left over as this kit covers both the YJ and TJ changes through the years. This was the first time I have rebuilt a transfer case and it took me an afternoon with the only special tool needed was a blind hole bearing puller.

Worked like factory
The item itself fit and works well. The engineering from Jeep makes me hope I never have to take it off. Installation was not hard just remove the boot and pop it on. For me I put it on Jeep side first then slide the handle down.
