Restore Smooth, Clean Operation of your Crankshaft Damper and Front Seal. That big pulley bolted onto the front of your Jeep’s crankshaft does more than just supply drive to engine ancillaries. It’s also a sophisticated metal and rubber harmonic balancer that helps to smooth out the firing pulses of your Wrangler’s 4.0L engine. This Damper and Seal Kit lets you easily and quickly replace a worn or damaged crankshaft damper, as well as a worn front main crankshaft seal, to put an end to oil leaks from that part of the engine.
Long-Lasting Metal and Rubber Construction. Both the damper and crankshaft seal have a pretty tough job to do. That’s why Manufacturer uses the highest grades of metal and rubber to manufacture the Crankshaft Damper and Crankshaft Front Seal. That way, you won’t have to do this job again for many years.
Direct Stock Replacement Parts. Both the front crankshaft seal and damper are designed to meet the original engineering specifications. They are straight replacements for the stock parts on the 4.0L Jeep engine.
