With this scoop, you will have a better fresh air flow into the vent than with the stock. The opening can either point back toward the windshield, or toward the front of your vehicle, whichever is your preference.

It can handle being left out in the elements, from freezing temperatures to harsh sunlight, without cracking, or disappointing in any way. As an added advantage, the modification also guards against water coming through the vent and making its way into the tub.
