2008 Wrangler X
Bought two new seats. The only reason not a 5 star is because I spoke with a rep at Extreme and they said I didn't need new seat brackets underneath, the ones that are stock with the Jeep will work with the new seats. THEY WERE WRONG. When I called back in the 2nd time the rep said absolutely you need new seat brackets (about $160.00 per seat). the seats themselves are great.

1990 Jeep Wrangler Install
Love the seats. Very comfortable and not to deep of a bucket allowing for some room to move around, and for us bigger people. Unfortunately the seats do not recline much installed in my old jeep, they hit the roll bar because they are about 2" to wide. I do recommend the Corbeau brackets, they will drop the overall height by about 2" and they have the sliding feature.

Not what I was hoping they’d be
Corbeau generally has good quality product. I’m currently running the baja recliner. I tried these hoping the lower thigh bolster would be more comfortable than the bajas. They were. But the rest of the seat didn’t match my needs. When installed the seat position is an inch or so farther forward (adjusted all the way back) than the bajas. If you’re looking for more leg room these are not for you. Eventually ended up reinstalling the bajas and cutting the metal framing of the thigh bolsters to soften the cushioning for long drives and make getting in and out easier. Returning was easy.

Excellent upgrade to tired seats
My 27 y/o TJ was in need of good seats. I’m a bigger guy (6’4” , 275) , and took advantage of the reviews and found these seats to be right up my alley. Look and feel great. Happy to have them in my Jeep. Yes , they sit a little taller , and they are firm. But I find those both as pluses. Gives a more commanding view over the hood (great on road and off) , and firm seating has never bothered me a bit.

Super comfy and lightweight
Stop asking yourself if you really need this and just get it. Not even comparable to stock seats, pair with the lower seat brackets if your 6ft tall or taller and have long legs and enjoy the added room you are afforded, I can actually enjoy driving my YJ now
