Description
An Absolute Necessity. Suspended in a web of bungee-like cords with the Black Vinyl Corbeau Baja XRS Suspension Seat, both driver and passengers are disconnected from the g-forces typical of 4x4 off-road motoring. Apart from being at least an order of magnitude more comfortable, suspension seat technology is also safer because the driver can focus 100% on maneuvering the vehicle and 0% on worrying about falling off their perch. For serious off-road users, this is less of a luxury than it is a necessity. The integrated head and neck rest provides additional comfort and security.
Classical Style Meets Suspension Technology. The simple, elegant lines of the Corbeau Baja XRS Suspension Seat combine perfectly with the space-age automotive technology that lies beneath. Suspension seats are typically carved out of foam, which eventually goes soft and provides diminished support. Here, injection-molded foam is paired with suspension seat engineering for unparalleled comfort and support that will last and last.
Available Upgrades. You can extend your comfort even further by adding heated seats, anti-submarine slots and/or seat savers.
Installation Difficulty. You're going to need your wits about you for this install and perhaps get some help from an individual with an intermediate level of mechanical skill. You will need a 13mm hex socket head, #30 torque wrench, and safety glasses. The job should take no more than two hours.
Tech Note. In the Ford Bronco the reclining mech hits the roll bar when trying to slide the seat back all the way. In other words if you like the slide your seat all the way back, you're going to lose about an inch or two of slide. For most people this is not a issue but if you're taller you'll want to consider this in the Ford Bronco.
Warranty. Corbeau warrants its Baja XRS Suspension Seat against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
