    Description

Better for Trails. Thanks to its aggressive 5-rib all-terrain pattern and dual draft tread element walls, you'll get better traction and reduced stone retention and stone drilling when you outfit your Wrangler with this Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Tire. A broken center rib improves soft surface traction without sacrificing handling, making A/T3 a perfect combination of comfort and performance. Taking your Wrangler on your favorite trails is easier with the Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Tire.

Tough Rubber. The A/T3 Tire incorporates a silica based tread compound that improves cut and chip resistance on rocky or gravel terrain. Lateral groove protectors further reduce the chance of stone retention and stone drilling, protecting your treads.

Improved Wet Braking. Manufactured with high-silica compound, this Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Tire provides improved wet braking capabilities on the road or on the trails. The interlocking lateral groove tread is self-cleaning and establishes superior traction in the rain, snow, sand or mud.

Application. This Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Tire is designed for use on any 1987-2018 Jeep Wrangler model. Please select your proper tire sizing from the options above. Sold individually.

What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.

Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.

This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.
