Installation Instructions

1. Carefully open the package using a box cutter or knife (Figure A).

2. Ensure that all hardware and items are included (Figure B).

3. Remove spare tire from mount (Figure C).

4. Remove the two bolts and washers in the upper right corner of the spare mount on the rear door (Figure D). Store these bolts and washers for future re-installation if no longer using the CB antenna mount.

5. Attach the antenna to the antenna mount (Figure E).

6. Install the antenna and antenna mount (Figure F) using the supplied 8mm bolts, lock washers, and flat washers.

7. Run the coaxial cable through the grommet directly below the mount (Figure G). If the grommet has not been previously opened, use a knife, box cutter, small flathead screwdriver, or similar tool to cut a small opening to feed the coaxial cable through.

8. On the inside of the rear door, remove the panel running the length of the inner door (Figure H).

9. Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, pull the end of the coaxial cable inserted into the grommet on the other side of the rear door through (Figure I).

10. Run the coaxial cable along the paneling and toward the rear door hinges (Figure J).

11. Run the coaxial cable inside the plastic paneling along the top of rear passenger side of the vehicle (Figure K) and out wherever you plan to attach to the connection box (Figure L).

12. Depending on where the CB connector box (sold separately) has been mounted, run the coaxial cable to that location and attach the PL-259 adapter (Figure M) and connect to the CB connector box.

Note: Do not bunch up loose excess cable—utilize a "zig-zag" pattern, instead.

13. Tighten the mounting bolts, ensuring the antenna is pointed straight up as mount is adjustable.

14. Re-install spare tire.
