How to Install Tailgate Storage Box - Gloss Black (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK w/o Rear Side Mounted Subwoofer) on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Notes: Kit should come with Allen Keys.

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove plastic cover on tailgate with flat head screwdriver by carefully prying off. Store plastic cover for later use.

2. Place bottom of mounting bracket into tailgate slot. Should be placed in top bottom slots, with one slot skipped in middle.

3. Using 5/64 Allen key and correct Allen bolt, tighten locking bracket to top mounting bracket. Repeat for all 4 locking brackets.

4. There will be rectangular washers and bolts. Tighten rectangular washer to lower mounting bracket with 5/64 Allen key and Allen Bolt.

5. Take box and align to mounting bracket holes.

6. Take correct Allen bolt and circler washers, then tighten box to bracket with 5/32 Allen Key. There will be 8 bolts and holes. May help to have extra set of hands to hold box while you tighten.

7. Take set of wheels and using Allen bolts, nuts, 5\64 Allen Key and 7mm socket wrench. Assemble to bottom of box, wheels help support heavy loads in box.

8.You have now completed Install of tailgate box.
