Easy Install Procedure. This Bushwacker hood stone guard mounts onto the leading edge of your hood using 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape for an easy peel-and-stick install. Before installation, the mounting areas should first be thoroughly cleaned before wiping down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to maximize the adhesion of the tape to your truck. Also when installing this component in cold weather, it is suggested that you first warm the mounting surface to about 60 degrees as the adhesive works best on warm surfaces. This could be done using a heat gun or hairdryer.
