Poorly packaged for shipment
No instructions in the box and while everything seems to be in the box, it was secured. There was no tape/staples/glue keeping the box shut. Other than that the brackets are seemingly quality material. I have done these conversions before but a set of instructions would be helpful regardless. Leaving a higher review only because of the quality of the kit and they sent stickers lol

Game Changer
I no longer hate driving my '12 JKU. Bought it used in Sept '24 and it's been making me crazy popping out of first gear constantly - and at the worst times. Makes my wife insane when she rides with me. One shop said had to rebuild transmission. Forums and another shop said get the B&M SportShifter. Finally after paying off my Christmas debt and wrote that check to uncle Same, bought it. What a complete game changer! This thing is brilliant! It's tight shift patter and solid feel make driving the Beast fun! I love this thing! Better late than never - but this is really a major upgrade for not a lot of money - bought mine on sale, so that helped, but so worth the cost. Solid, shorter throw shifts, no popping out of gear, I can now drive the Beast with absolute confidence and a smile. Bonus, the short shift patter now doesn't make me knock my drink out of the holder every time I hit reverse or 6th. Love this.

Solid replacement!
The cotter pins are a challenge with my fat fingers and location. I had to adjust fully out both sides of the cable to reach levers. It works good though. No more clunky arms popping out of the grommets.

great upgrade.
This is a easy upgrade for Manual Taco drivers. installation takes about 1.5 hours at the most, simple tools but you will need to do a little cutting. The biggest improvement is not longer having miss shifting, or sloppy shifting. Styling is great on this. For fitting your boot to the stick itself I used stainless steal safety wire rather the zip tie to give it a crisper look. the only downside is there is noticeable heat transfer from your transmission to the shift column, it does not get hot but it does get noticeably warm. Possibly the biggest pro on this is the noise from the transmission is decreased.

Great Shifter
I installed this on my 2004 TJ with the NV3550 transmission. The install was easy and straight forward. The shifter is nice and it works great, short shifts, no slop when in gear. The only issue I have is that the shifter does not center in the middle of the shift pattern like the stock shifter. When in neutral, it lines up with 1st-2nd gear not 3rd-4th. I called B&M and spoke with customer service about this but they said that is not an issue. I have gotten used to it but it was not expected. Overall I would recommend this if you want tighter shifts and a better driving experience.

The stock JL shifter is already good...
...but this takes it across the finish line. If you're used to installing short shifters on other transmissions expect the same end result (there is a practical ceiling). The stock JL shifter is already quite good and a lot of the way there but this finishes the job. If that's worth it to you then this is what you want. Install is entirely in cabin which is nice too

Good product
Good quality product, I had problems to install it because the bracket goes on the body, the nut come off the rubber part and end up with different solution and the bracket that goes on the transfer was another thing, I had to cut a piece to make fit, At the end I’m happy with the results
