Overall great shocks, high quality and value for the money with a nice ride that’s not too stiff. They are fairly easy to install for a 1st timer changed front and rear and steering dampener shock at the same time. Would highly recommend.

Bilstein Shocks

Bought these to replace my wife’s stock shocks on her Sahara Wrangler and we could instantly tell a difference in ride quality. It’s definitely not as stiff of a ride anymore

New Shocks over standard

I have used Extreme Terrain for just about all the big purchases on my JLU build. The reason i went with the Bilstein product was i had done a build on my 06 TJ using Rancho shocks, while the Rancho shocks were not bad, they didn't give me the ride I wanted, I had lifted 2.5" and the ride was rougher. I pulled those, sold them and replaced with Bilstein which was a great change. I went with Bilstein on the JLU because it was between those and a FOX shock, after comparing the prices, I figured i could get a great shock in the Bilstein and cut my cost in half. Is the other product bad, NO, but I'm attempting to enjoy this Jeep without breaking the bank.

JL replacement shocks

Replaced the OEM shocks after they started leaking. So far things definitely ride better on the highway/local. I've had limited offroad time with them but didn't have any issues. So far I'd recommend them as a reasonable cost replacement.

Excellent quality and made in America!

Install wasn't without its difficult moments but the quality is superb and looks great in place of the cheap stock shocks Jeep puts on the Wrangler Sport

So Much Better than Factory

Cannot believe how much better they are than the factory shocks. Even coming off of a jeep with only 14,000 miles definitely gets the ride back to very good with 35s on it.

Made the Jeep more stable. Fit was perfect. Boots on shocks protected nicely

Better than Stock

They have better ride quality than the stock shocks and better hi speed rebound control than the Rock Sports that they replaced. I feel they are a good compromise between over priced reservoir shocks and other cheap alternatives.

These are great shocks! Had them on our old Jeep and replaced our new Jeep with them!
