      Description

      Sizing. What is not to appreciate about the Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber? It has a length of 14.63 inches when collapsed, a length of 23.07 inches when extended, and a travel length of 8.44 inches. The lower mount eye is a 12.7 millimeter eye and the upper mount is a bar pin. The shaft diameter is 14 millimeters and the body design is 45 millimeters.

      Properties. There are many features of this monotube gas pressure shock that will impressive you. Features such as the single tube high gas design that creates constantly good fade-free performance that will last for years to come. The high flow piston works to reduce piston harshness, and exact tamping is possible via the bigger working piston area. This piston creates great control, and is especially fit for rigs with larger aftermarket tires and original factory mounting configurations.

      Notable Features. Bilstein, the manufacturer of this shock, is well known as one of the most innovative brands and they bring their latest technology to this piece. It is made with the same high quality specifications they are known for. The self-adjusting deflecting disc valving assists this shock in its quest for maximum performance – just like the independent rebound and compression tuning also.

      Application. This rear shock fits 1997 - 2006 TJ Wranglers.
