Bestop Supertop Soft Bed Topper (04-24 Titan w/ 6-1/2-Foot Bed)

Rough on the installation.

I bought this cover last week. I watched the installation video multiple times by Extreme Terrain. There needs to be a disclaimer with the product. Summer Installation Method and Winter Installation Method. I did my install in 30/40 degree weather. The product would not stretch to fit properly. Once I watch a few different videos, I found the info I needed. I installed as much as possible. Then I put a small space heater in the bed of my truck. This allowed the materials to heat up and be more pliable. Once this was achieved the install finished quickly. Great product. Happy with the end result.

The video is very accurate on install time and difficulty. It took me a lot longer because I was fighting the cold weather. The directions state you shouldn't install below 70°F and believe me it's true. Find a warm garage or something. The install will go super smooth. PROS- Great look, simple install, quality material, 2.5hr install CONS- Certain small parts look like others and aren't identified well in the directions adding time to install, Be super careful with the plastic windows they scratch easy, the tint on the windows could be darker

Looks as good as it works

It is made of solid vinyl and the windows can hold up to some pretty serious winds. the clamps it comes with are super low quality so my advice is to buy some better ones. the vinyl shrinks substantially in the cold so wait for that warm weather to install.

Quality

Very happy with this product. Installation wasn’t too bad at all. Now all my gear wont get rained on. Love that I can fold it down and still get use maximum use out of my bed.

Top cover

I love this product. Helps alot to pit stuff on my truck like my camping stuff or my snowboard gears. My friends and I love the extra space by using this top cover.

Great topper

First one I received didn’t fit and I almost broke in the process of trying to install it. I reached out to Bestop for guidance in hopes of them pointing out a flaw in my abilities. They asked for some pictures of it where I was having issues and the damaged piece. Less than 24 hrs later they asked for proof of purchase and my complete mailing address and that they would be sending me out a new one and to trash the old one. Bestop has the best customer service of any company I’ve ever worked with. Onto the topper. This thing is great. It’s not completely water proof but it’s about 97 better than nothing at all (then again there’s something to be said about that seeing as 67 of statistics are made up). I took it through the car was today and it held up. No rips, seams are all in place, zippers still zip. This is one durable soft topper I am thoroughly impressed.

Good idea!

Getting dogs in and out of the back is problematic with the metal bar across the tailgate. Needs at least 6 clamps not 4 for the shell. Other wise its a really good deal for keeping things dry.
