Sail cloth soft top for '92 YJ

The product is great. If you have never installed a soft top, it may take a little longer to put on. The quality is excellent the fit is snug but you want it that way to minimize noise and the elements. It took my wife and I a weekend to install but in 90 deg+ temps we were in no rush. We have two of these an '91 and '92. Thankfully the '91 is a hard top

Quality product / Great Looking.

We are first time Jeep owners who inherited my dad's beloved 1991 Jeep Wrangler. The Bestop replacement top looks amazing--deep black with tinted windows. It's well made and didn't rip/tear or cause these amateurs any real issues putting it on. I'm sincerely happy with the product and thankful to all who recommended it as the best choice. ( I wish they would change the picture on the website/wrong product picture.)

Nice Top

I spent a little extra for the sailcloth. It seems slightly quieter than the replace-a-top that come off. Very taught but not impossible to put on. I don't know why Bestop doesn't come up with a belt rail type adapter for over the doors (TJ Style). The snaps SUCK! I got most of them snapped with some effort. It looks good.

The quality is amazing.. easy install except for the snaps above the door... I’m sure that’s the reason for a redesign in later year models. I love the tinted windows.

Great Replacement

My 2015's top was getting rough. Almost impossible to see out the back window. After considering all of the options, I went with this one. Who better to by a replacement from than the guys that make the OEM's? Install was easy after watching the ET video a couple of times. Fit and finish are perfect. The cloth is definitely a tad thinner than the OEM but that shouldn't have an impact on its serviceability. Unlike the OEM it replaced, water does pool behind the header and pours into the cab if you roll down the windows before you move. I'm assuming it's due to the thinner cloth. The "new top smell" went away after a few days. I'd deduct half a star for the pooling issue.

This is a great soft top for my Jeep. I received it very quickly and in perfect condition. It fit perfectly and looks amazing on my Jeep.

Great Top, shows why you go with Bestop!

Ive tried other non-Bestop tops and this top has reminded me why Bestop is worth the extra $. This sailcloth top is TIGHT with great quality, thick material and smooth zippers. It cut down on wind noise and looks great. The Jeep looks almost new again. Instructions were very clear, though I swapped two steps since it was so tight (despite laying it in the sun for a couple of hours): before I secured the rear corners, I attached the header bar to the windshield. I tried to do it the “right way”, but I couldn’t for the life of me get the header bar even close to being in position with the rear corners secured. Great purchase, great company.

Absolute perfect fit!

This top arrived quickly and fortunately, it was hot outside (about 80F). I installed the top over the old hardware in less than 45 minutes and the top was tight and fit was perfect. You owe it to yourself to get the sailcloth material. It is thicker and just screams quality.

Love the top! No more leaks. Need a little fine adjustment. Springs were a little challenging to hook in. Should be a better way
