How to Install Barricade Roof Rack Basket - Textured Black on your 87-18 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK & JL

It is recommended that you have an additional person available to help during this installation, parts can be awkward to hold and support by yourself.

lay out the basket parts with 1 side rail inserted into 1 end piece and the 5 horizontal rails inserted into the 1 side rail.

Install the other side rail into the 1 end piece. While inserting the side rail into the end piece, insert the 5 horizontal rails into the second side rail.

Install the second end piece onto the 2 side rails. Then, lay the horizontal pads across the horizontal rails. Line up the rail screw holes with the pad screw holes, then tighten down 1 whole pad; this will line up the rest of the pad holes, vertically, to install the rest of the pads and screws.

Carefully turn the basket over and install an allen head screw, with a washer, at each pre-drilled hole; where the end pieces meet the side rails. Turn the basket back over and prepare to place it on the Jeep roof rack.

Lay the basket on top of the roof rack and install the plastic spacer between the rack and the basket’s end piece cross brace. Install the clamp over the rack, through the plastic spacer and the metal hoop. Tighten down all 4 corners of the rack until they are tight.
