The Jeep in these instructions has the factory Rubicon rock rails installed. They are not required for these sliders and do not have to be removed either.
1. Be sure the Jeep is on a level surface and will not roll while you work.
2. Locate body attachment bolts on each side of the Jeep.
3. There will be 2 on each side on a 2 door, 3 on each side for a 4 door.
4. Using the 18mm socket, loosen the bolts.
5. The bolts will not come all of the way out. Let them hang for now.
6. Use a pry bar to finish removing the bolts from the body insulators
7. Use jack stands to hold the sliders in place under the Jeep
8. Following the instructions, put the blue Loctite on the bolts. Slide the bolts back into place through the mounting holes in the sliders. Finger tighten the bolts into place and then tighten a few turns with the wrench.
9. Leave the bolts loose until all 3 are in place so you can adjust the sliders to line up all of the holes
10. Tighten all 3 bolts up then remove the jack stands.
11. Use the torque wrench to tighten the bolts to 35 lb-sq ft.
12. Admire your work for a moment, then move to the other side and do it all again.
13. Repeat the steps above on the other side of your Jeep
