(2) - headlight guards

It is recommended that you have an additional person available to help during this installation, parts can be awkward to hold and support by yourself. Block wheels and set parking brake before beginning work. Disconnect the negative (-) batter cable.

Begin by raising the hood. (A) Pull the left and right hood catches to the outside of the vehicle. (B) Lift the hood about 2”. (C) Push the hood catch, located in the center of the hood, to the right.

Remove the (4) plastic pins retaining the top of the grill. Pry up the inner part of the tab with a small, flat head screw driver, then remove the inner and outer part of the tab from the vehicle (shown in inset). Pull out on the bottom of the grill and the (4) pressure tabs will release. The turn signal wires are still attached.

Remove the (4) T15 screws from the chrome headlight bezel. Set the screws aside, they will be reused for the install. Support the headlight, it will be loose.

Place the guard over the headlight and chrome headlight bezel. Insert the (4) T15 screws, removed in the previous step, tighten each screw approximately 1/4 of the way, until all (4) screws are started; then tighten each screw. Repeat on the opposite side, then reassemble the front of the Jeep.
