Merideth: If you're looking for an affordable way to give your 2021 or newer Ford Bronco a facelift, this Barricade Trail Force HD Front Bumper will definitely do the job. Now, I would like to call out that this will fit all Ford Bronco models, excluding the Raptor model, so I would just keep that in mind. And then the last, this will transform the way that your Bronco looks and functions on the front end if you need some added toughness to your build and or need some additional utility for your off-road adventures. This will also be great if you want an all-inclusive front bumper that will carry over your factory features and maintain the comfort and function that you're used to in your Bronco. Now this bumper is going to feature a full-width design reaching from fender to fender and will also be high clearance, especially on the ends offering a good balance of coverage and maneuverability if you're taking your Bronco off-road. Now, the bumper will also feature a bull bar up top for added grille protection with the addition of two light mounting options for accessory lighting. You're also getting two welded D-ring mounts and D-rings on the front, capable of a 9500-pound load capacity, and cutouts and brackets for your factory fog lights. From the top of the bumper here, this is going to have a winch plate capable of housing a winch with up to 12,000-pound pulling capacity, allowing you to really customize your setup and how you want to kind of fill out this front bumper. And I also like the fact that this is going to come with a top filler plate as you can see on the table in the front. That's going to add a finished and sophisticated look to the front end right in that gap there, again, giving it that premium appearance that you may be looking for.Getting into the build and the makeup here, this is going to have a 5/32-inch mild steel plate construction and steel tubing that's 2 by 0.12 inches thick, offering reliable durability that you can trust, especially if you're coming in contact with obstacles off-road. Now the bumper will also have a premium two-stage epoxy pre-coating and fine texture black powder coat finish to protect the steel underneath and will boast a longevity out of the appearance for years to come. This will also be completely bolt-on so you don't have to worry about any modification or drilling when it comes to adding this to your build, keeping some peace of mind there, and you keep your front sensors so you can swap them over if you'd like. Or if you don't have them, you can plug them with the provided hardware in the kit and you're also getting an adaptive cruise control bracket so you, again, won't have to sacrifice those creature comforts. Now, again, this is going to save you a couple of bucks coming in at $675, making this one of the more affordable options on the page compared to other choices. Now, what I like about this option here is that you're getting a sleek and a good-looking bumper that's going to be fully loaded, so you're ready for literally any adventure. If you're going out on the trail, keeping it through the street, kind of in the middle, no matter where you're going with your Bronco, you're going to be set up with this front bumper. Now with all of those features that you're swapping over from the factory and additional features that you're getting with this front bumper, I personally think if this has everything that you're looking for, then it's definitely worth it.Now, install will be a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It is going to be pretty straightforward when it comes to getting this onto your Bronco, probably taking you about two hours to get the job done. And you may want an extra set of hands on deck just because this is a little bit heavy, and some basic hand tools. Now, at this point, we can head over to the shop and check out the detailed breakdown of what that install looks like step by step. So, it's going to wrap it up for me. Let's go ahead and jump into it.Man 1: For this install, you will need a clip removal tool, impact, ratchet, 10-millimeter socket, 15 and 18-millimeter deep sockets, 18-millimeter swivel socket, 10 and 13-millimeter wrenches, 4 and 5-millimeter Allen wrenches. What's up, guys? Today, we're going to be installing a new front bumper on our Bronco, but before we get started we're going to send you to watch a short video on how to uninstall your factory one and we'll see you when you get back.Man 2: So the first thing we're going to do is to get ready to remove our bumpers. We're going to remove our skid plate. We've got some 15 millimeters here we're going to take off. I'm gonna use my 15-millimeter on my 3/8 gun and remove these. Get the skid plate off. Then we'll be able to get up and remove our wiring harness. Just connect some more bolts and we'll get our bumper off. So now what we're gonna do is remove our little rubber sleeves here, go over our D-rings. So, to put this bumper on, the manufacturer recommends cutting these flush here. Now, since we are not keeping this bumper on, I'm gonna just remove these and get these out of the way, we're not gonna use them. So, I'm gonna take my 15-millimeter on my gun, remove these, and this one back here. You should be able to just pull it down like that and get it off the grommet. Now, I'll do the one on this side. Way up here on the driver's side, there's a wiring harness right here. I'm gonna actually push the clip in here and pull this off. This is the wiring harness for the whole bumper. Now, on our bumper, we don't have the sensors up front, so you're going to be able to remove that harness right there and that will allow us to remove the bumper. So now what we're going to do is remove our two plastic covers here, just like that, which is going to give us access to these three bolts. Same on this side. I'm just gonna pop it off like that. Now I'm gonna take my 15-millimeter socket on my 3/8 gun, we're gonna remove these three on this side. I'm actually gonna leave one right here, just hanging on there so the bumper don't drop. Same again, my 15-millimeter on my 3/8 gun.I'm just gonna leave that in place and then I'll take these out as I grab the bumper and remove it. So now what I'm gonna do is just make sure these bolts are loose. Pick this bumper up, unscrew this one here and I just left them on just to hold in place. Make sure it's out. Grab a hold of the bumper and off she comes. So now because this bumper is a high clearance bumper, it's six of our high, we're gonna remove our crash bars. I'm gonna take my 15-millimeter ratcheting wrench and remove this one. Now, you're gonna wanna just repeat this same procedure on the opposite side.Man 1: So, now that we have our bumper off, we're gonna set it on the table and we're gonna need to go ahead and remove this inner bracket here so we can remove our fog lights and harness so we can swap them over to our new bumper, which reuses the factory fog lights. So, to start, we're gonna grab our 15-millimeter socket on our impact and remove our four outer bolts here. Next, we can go ahead and remove the four 10-millimeter bolts in the middle of our bracket here using our 10-millimeter socket on our impact. And then we can go ahead and lift our inner bracket out of the way. Next, we can go ahead and unplug our fog lights, pull that out, and do the same for the other one. And once we have that done, we can take our clip removal too, and pop out our retaining clips for our harness along the inside of our bumper. Then we can go ahead and lay her harness out, just as it was. Now, we can remove our fog lights themselves using our 10-millimeter socket on our impact and remove the four mounting bolts. Then we can go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. All righty, guys, welcome back. Now that we've shown you how to remove your factory bumper, we've got our new one up on the table, and we can start putting our add-ons onto it before we throw it on the car. And to start, we're gonna put in our parking sensor mounting location covers, because our model does not come with front parking sensors. Now, if yours does, your kit does come included with everything to mount the sensors on. So, we're just gonna add our covers in, and they simply pop into place, just like so. And we will do that for all four of them.So now we can get ready to mount our fog lights onto our bumper. And to do that we're first going to grab our fog light brackets and go ahead and mount the lights to the brackets just because it's much easier to do this while it's off the car or off the bumper rather. And to do that we're going to grab four 10-millimeter bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. Put those through. And then on the other side, we'll have a flat washer and 10-millimeter flange nuts. And we'll go ahead and get all four of those on and hand-tight.Now, once we have all four on, we can go ahead and tighten those down using your 10-millimeter socket on our ratchet and a 10-millimeter wrench. Now once we have that done, we can go ahead and repeat the same process for other fog lights. So our fog light bracket shares these two mounting points with our push bar here. So what we're going to do first is get our push bar mounted by the inner bolt here on each side and then we can come back and mount the rest of our bar with our fog light brackets as well. So, we're going to grab our 5-millimeter Allen bolts and flat washer, go ahead and get our first side in here. Let's get that lined up. We can hold it in place and then we'll get a flat washer as well as a 13-millimeter flange nut on the backside. We get that hand tight and then we'll do the same thing for the other side. Now we can go ahead and get our fog light bracket mounted with our push bar. And we'll get again our 5-millimeter Allen bolts through, and a flat washer, and flange nut. On the back side, move our first one in. And once we have those hand tight, we can go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. So now we can go ahead and tighten down our back two bolts using our 13-millimeter socket on our ratchet and our 5-millimeter Allen wrench. And we will need to switch out to a regular wrench to get this back one here, but we can go ahead and tighten down the other back two on the other side using the same tools. And now we can go ahead and tighten up this front one here using our 5-millimeter Allen wrench and 13-millimeter wrench. Then we can go ahead and do the same thing for the other side.Next, we can go ahead and install our back plate for our winch mount area. One thing to note is after this is installed, this would be a good time if you do have a winch to install on this bumper to go ahead and do that before you put it on the vehicle. So, we'll go ahead and grab more of our 5-millimeter Allen bolts, flat washers, and then a flat washer and 13-millimeter flange nut for the backside. And we'll go ahead and tighten those down using our 13-millimeter socket on our ratchet and a 5-millimeter Allen wrench. Now we can go ahead and install our ambient air temperature sensor cover. Then we can slide that on there. Then we'll grab three of our 4-millimeter Allen bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. Go ahead and drop them into the mounting holes here. Now we can go ahead and add our three 10-millimeter flange nuts and flat washers to the backside.Next, we can go ahead and tighten those down with our 10-millimeter socket on our ratchet and a 4-millimeter Allen wrench. Just wanted to point out that this is actually the adaptive cruise control sensor block off. If you don't have it, you add this plate. If you do have it, you add the sensor onto that and mount it on your new bumper. Now we can go ahead and add our nut plates to the backside of our frame horns to get ready to mount our bumper. And they simply slide over with the double nut side on the inside. And you can get that lined up with your factory mounting holes, and then go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. So, sometimes these can be a little bit unwieldy, these nut plates to try to keep them lined up while we're gonna go ahead and mount the bumper. So, a little trick is to just grab some tape and kind of get your plate lined up halfway decent where you want it. And just kind of stick your tape in place. Just to hold it there and we can do it for the outside too. Then we can go ahead and do the same thing for the outside of our nut plate. And again, this is all still accessible once we install the bumper so we can take the tape off if you so choose. It just helps ease of install as a simple thing. And you can go and do the same thing to the other side. So now we're ready to go ahead and mount our bumper onto the car and we've gone ahead and grabbed this second set of hands to help us out. and we'll put in our 18-millimeter bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. And now that we have our outer 18-millimeter bolts on, we'll go ahead and use our 18-millimeter swivel socket and our ratchet. Go ahead and start snugging this down. Now, we don't need to go all the way tight just yet, but we do want to secure it a good bit so we can get our other bolts in. And then we can go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. So now we're ready to get our two bolts in place on the inside of our frame horn. Again, these are 18-millimeter bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. Start with our upper one. Get that lined up. There are through holes into are nut plate, and get that to start threading. And then we can go ahead and get our lower one in place. Then we can go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. And now that we have everything in place, we can go ahead and tighten our bolts down using our 18-millimeter swivel socket on our ratchet. On the outside as well. Then we can go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. Now we can go ahead and grab our factory fog light harness. Then we'll go ahead and plug in our fog lights and run it over to the other side. Now we can plug our harness back into the vehicle side which is located directly at the bottom of your front fender here on your driver's side to snap it in place. Then we'll secure our harness up out of the way. There's a few different spots you can secure your harness up out of the way. Or you do it however you choose, whichever way you want for your vehicle. And just make sure it's tucked up out of the way so it doesn't snag on anything.Next, we can go ahead and reinstall our factory mud guard here to the bottom. So we'll grab four out of six of our 15-millimeter bolts. Set this up in place. Two front ones on. And we won't need our middle ones because we're not reinstalling our factory tow hooks where those mount two. So we'll go ahead and get our back one installed. Then we can go ahead and tighten those down using our 15-millimeter socket on our impact. Now we can go ahead and install our D-rings onto our hooks here. Then we're gonna get those in place, slide our bolt through. And we'll go ahead and do the same thing for the other side. All righty, guys, that about wraps up our reviewing install of our Barricade Trail Force HD Front Bumper for your '21 to current Bronco, excluding the Raptor. Thanks for watching. And as always for everything Bronco, keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.

      Nice bumper Caveat on install

Delivery was fast. Nice bumper. Video was very helpful except: the bracket that holds the factory tow hook also holds up the cooler. Reinstalled factory tow hooks and all is well.

      High quality bumper

This is nit the first Barricade bumper I have purchased so I was confident in ordering this one. I had a similar o e on my Gladiator w/ a 12k winch and used it several times without fail… The packaging was somewhat damaged through shipping but expected some just because the item is so heavy. The passenger corner had a lil paint knocked off but I consider this a no harm / no foul issue. Easy fix. The enclosed instructions weren’t too bad until step 9. It has you install the fog lights onto the brackets. Then in step 10, says to install on bumper. Impossible to install bracket on bumper with fog lights attached due to the bolts being hidden behind light. So i had to remove the lights, install brackets, then reinstall lights. Overall, very satisfied with bumpers construction and coating. Plan is to add winch so will update review at that time.

      Barricade Trail Force Bumper

Bumper fits as expected. Must note if you have adaptive cruise control you will need to extend the wiring or buy a pigtail to make it reach. If your using sensors ; you will need to slice the tape on harness to pull back sensor two wiring to make it reach the other sensor connections. There are not any cutouts or zip tie locations for harness to tie to.

      Open Box deal

Purchased as on "Open Box" deal and bumper arrived better than I expected "all hardware and accessories were included", description said missing hardware. Only a few minor scrapes that I touched up with matching paint "it's a bumper and will get many more scrapes". Only issue I had was needed to add some shim plates behind the mounting brackets for about a 1/4" standoff because my RC 9500 winch was too tight to the front grill. About a 2 to 3 hour install without the shims (I had to install mine twice once I tried to mount my winch).
