Description
This Pro system comes with the 2-piece 6-piston, 6P caliper mounted to a 13.5", 1-piece slot, drill, zinc plated rotor. The 6P caliper has D.O.T compliant dust and weather seals and uses the popular D0731 pad type. Mounting brackets and hardware are also included. The 13.5" Pro is designed to fit most 17” or larger wheels.

Awesome Braking Power
I performed a hemi conversion on my 09 JK and the single piston calipers I upgraded to when I went to 35” tires just didn’t cut it. These new 6 piston calipers and the oversized rotors are perfect. Very happy so far with the upgrade!

These are the best brakes I've ever ran on a Jeep!
Over the years I've had several Jeeps with different axle and brake set ups. Moving old drum brakes to disk is about as close a comparison that I can make. Moving to the larger diameter is flat out the best option for brakes I've ever done. Drilled and slotted is not the best in the dirt/mud because you will get rocks and debris caught in there but since they don't have an option for standard disk its a good start.

Perfect Upgrade!
If your driving around your custom built Jeep on 37's or even 35's with the factory brake system your missing out! I didn't realize the lacking performance with the factory brakes due to the fact that I upgraded to 35' then when those tires wore out I decided to make the leap to 37's. Normal braking was working fine but under hard braking, when some idiot pulled straight out in front of me, I noticed a significant need to upgrade my stopping ability if I didn't want to end up in the trunk of some kid's Honda Civic! I took a lot of time to research different upgrade options, Terra Flex, Best Stop, even Wilwood. BAER is the only system that maximized the space under my 17" RS2 rims. Others required 18" rims or just supplied a larger rotor and a slightly modified factory style caliper. I am more than thrilled with the decision to spend the additional $$ on an upgrade that made a significant improvement over stock. Install is straight forward and only requires trimming of the factory dust shield with a Dremmel. You can save money on some upgrades with lower quality but I definitely would protect your investment and family with a quality upgrade!

Great looking upgrade
Hard to find a matching set for my fronts. Easy install though the mentioned shimming process threw me for a loop. It looked like the pad guides would rub (and couldn’t figure out how to him in that direction) but when I retracted the pads fully and installed all lined up perfectly. These were installed with Teraflex SS lines as well.

Just what I needed
This setup was just what I needed. I'm not building a race Jeep so I don't need big brakes out back. These offer better braking capability without all the frills. Only giving four stars instead of five because the setup does not come with new pad clips. Seriously. They're less than $1 at wholesale pricing. Throw them in the box.

Purchased both front and back to improve braking capability after installing a lift and 35's. They work GREAT! A much better feel than factory, greatly improves stopping ability, has a nice solid feel to the pedal. Kit includes everything but tools and a power bleeder.
