Description
Intimidate the Pack. Give your Wrangler JL an intimidating new sound when you upgrade with the AWE Tread Edition Axle-Back Dual Exhaust with Diamond Black Tips. This axle-back exhaust is engineered to give your factory exhaust tone a raspy mid-range growl. What’s more, this axle back’s included dual mufflers feature proprietary 180 technology that works by cancelling out drone. This produces an exhaust tone that’s surprisingly mellow from inside your cab for a more relaxing drive.
Enhanced Performance. Not only does this axle-back exhaust system make your Jeep sound good, it makes it perform better too. Specifically, this system combines free-flowing exhaust pipes with the twin straight-through mufflers to improve exhaust gas velocity. This enables your engine to “breathe” more freely which in turn enhances power and torque, both of which come in handy no matter where you drive.
Wear-Resistant Build Quality. The axle-back exhaust system is constructed from high-grade 3-inch T304 tubular stainless steel with 0.065-inch thick walls for superior strength and corrosion resistance. Moreover, these tubes are CNC mandrel-bent eliminating any turbulence-creating areas along its inner structure. The included twin mufflers for their part are also machine-formed and expertly welded, improving rigidity and ensuring consistent performance. Rounding out their construction are a pair of 4.50-inch wide diamond black slant-cut double-walled exhaust tips for an awesome style.
No Frills Install Procedure. This AWE Tread Edition axle-back dual exhaust utilizes your Jeep’s factory exhaust system’s location as its installation area. No drilling, welding, or other modifications to your vehicle are needed. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools and all hardware is included for convenience.
