Protective Add-On. Made for the Jeep Gladiator JT models, this Artec Industries Skid Kit comes in a matte black finish. Built from 3/16 inch aerospace aluminum material, this skid kit is made as a protective add-on to the high clearance Comp Front Bumper from Artec Industries. This unit has a been machine countersunk for a smooth surface.
Installation. Putting this Artec Industries Skid Kit on your ride is easy and may require drilling, cutting, or welding.

Good Fit
There are no instructions included however went to trusty u-tube and followed their instructions but do not follow “just yank off the fenders” if you plan on reinstalling them you will break off the clips. Remove the splash shield (inner fenders) and remove the clips from behind, other than that all went well great product however no reduction in oil temperature ??

Looks amazing and can take a hit!
Love the way this bumper looked and once I got it on the truck I was even more impressed. Very straightforward install had to add trailer plug extension. Had to ditch the BSM for now just tucked the modules and turned off from inside the cab.

Artec Industries V2 Tire Delete - 21 Wrangler Rubicon
The aluminum used on this kit has good thickness and it's light weight. The main plate covers and fits well, but the part for the brake light and camera could be improved, the open seams could have been welded. I also have an issue with the camera not being able to position in the center of the opening. Also, if you have the Mopar reinforcement tailgate kit, you would need to remove kit if you want the plate to be flush mounted. So after experiencing the above mishaps, I unfortunately can not return or exchange kit, as I had painted the kit before installing, I did not anticipated having any issues. It's a good kit, but my suggestion would be to do a trial install before final, even if it takes more time and multiple installations.

Excellent buy!
I purchased these and had them installed just ahead of our annual Jeep Camp. So thankful I did! They held up to some serious rock crawling challenges and kept my LCAs protected and their mounts in place. Good, solid purchase.

2021 Wrangler Rubicon
Plate is of good quality and thickness, but the open seams where folded should have been welded. The camera lens did not sit properly in opening and brake light plug is a tight fit above the camera. Also, don't know if its common knowledge but the Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit would need to be removed to fit plate properly. In my excitement did a quick eye ball fitting check and painted the plate pieces, unfortunately with the fit issue and having to remove additional parts I will not use and return to the original factory set up.

Passenger fender did not fit
I ordered Artec inner fenders Specifically for my eco-diesel Wrangler Rubicon, it took hours for my husband to install the passenger it would not fit. The driver side went in beautifully. It was made for the vehicle. However, the passenger side I believe was not for the eco-diesel engine but instead a Regular Wrangler. I specifically ordered for the eco-diesel/392 due to the engine being larger. These are supposed to be special team made to fit this particular wrangler. I had to bring my Rubicon into the dealer for minor wiring work, they needed to take the fender off to get to the part and it took the mechanic two hours to get the fender back on. He noted in the paperwork the fender was not specific to my vehicle and I was charged $300 of labor. I cannot go through that every time it needs service on the passenger side. I am not happy with this purchase.

Super easy install
It took a bit longer than the initial 30 mins.. but overall, things went super easy. The instructions are very bare, so fast to look around and try a few things. Overall, real easy tho.

pleased with the inner fenders, careful on the install on the passenger side. existing factory wiring harness is located behind the wall you have to drill.
