Description
Underbody Protection. For a reliable underbody protection, make sure to install these ARB Skid Plates to your Tacoma. These skid plates offer a full, 4-panel protection, which covers your vehicle’s power steering, engine oil pan, transmission, and transfer case. So even if you’re up for a rowdy off-road ride, your truck’s underbody will remain intact and protected.
Durable Construction. For a long-lasting performance, these ARB Skid Plates are made of a 3 mm laser cut sheet steel. This is then pressed and folded to form a more durable panel. The panels are then zinc-plated and powder-coated with a silver finish to protect the material from rust and other corrosive elements.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. These skid plates offer a direct bolt-on installation. Using the supplied hardware, you can readily install these skid plates to your Tacoma’s chassis. Installation time can take you up to an hour or less if you know exactly where each panel should go.

ARB Skid Plates 2008 Tacoma
These skid plates definitely exceeded my expectations. I did not have any trouble mounting them by myself with only a pair of ramps, it took me 3 hours total. The instructions are not overly detailed, but this is a very straight forward project so I had no trouble with that. I don't do any rock crawling and I think these plates are more than enough protection for my hunting, fishing, camping, and farm truck. The fourth plate under the transfer case reduces ground clearance but I intend on lifting the truck and putting on taller tires. I just decided on armor before the lift.

2017 TRD Off-Road - JoelSC

Major upgrade to 2017 off road
The stock skidplate on the 2017 offroad is a very thin 2 panel. This upgrade looks better, has twice the coverage and is extremely heavy duty. I installed it myself and ran into quite a bit of trouble. Getting the bolts to start threading was difficult by itself and one of the welded nuts was slightly out of line with its hole making it impossible to start the bolt. Had to file the hole to get it started. It also got harder and harder to line up everything as I progressed. Finally the 3rd panel would not fit because of some brakets that may not be standard on all tacoma models. I cut the back corners off to get it to fit. Now that it's on I love the look and utility of it. Other than the added weight the only con is that it is more difficult to remove for an oil change or other maintenance.

So good I'm buying a new one for my second truck
I bought this skid plate for my 2005 tacoma, and it has lasted a long time. It is super durable and protective. It is super strong, for the medium off roading I do. Be sure that your truck's gas tank and lower control arms are covered by something though because my friend punctured his gas tank last week.

Good Rack
Installed on '18 Taco, easy process, but time consuming. Trimming the gutter liners was probably the hardest part. Fitment was easy, everything lines up logically. The deflector side holes secure to the front mounting point - instructions were ambiguous on that. You can tighten the nuts that control the width of the mount bars with the rack on the truck - use a slim 13mm wrench - which gives some wiggle room to line up the bolt holes. Not every piece of hardware is used from the deflector kit. The rack part is one solid piece - It will come via freight delivery - be ready for that.

Heavy duty bumper
This bumper mean business. Install was made easier by watching a youtube video by KFlo Tacoma. Be prepared to upgrade the suspension. My 2014 suspension was a little over burdened by weight of the bumper and winch so i upgraded with the Old Man Emu heavy duty lift. Install was over the weekend

ARB Summit Front Bumper Install
First it came packaged very well. The instruction pictures could have been a little better detailed. The quality of the finish is great and seems to be quite durable. It was an easier install than expected although have a good friend with you who is mechanically inclined. If the hardware could have been packaged with what and where it went would have saved some guess work. I think it was advertised somewhere that it would take approximately 2 hours. It took us 8. The finished product is awesome and I am very happy altogether.

ARB Fitting kit worked great.
ARB Fitting kit worked great. Easy to install. Holes lined up perfectly. I built an aluminum rack for traction boards, two RotoPax and a shovel. Cutting the plastic is the only tricky part. I would recommend using silicone sealant in addition to the rubber provided.

In looking for a aftermarket bumper for my Tacoma I wanted something that retains the crash sensor's, as well as providing some headlight protection. They do on all accounts unlike other manufacturers. It's a solid steel bumper at 170 lbs.

A bomb proof bumper tobsayvthe least. Installation took about 7hrs. I would give 5 stars but the instructions from ARB are terrible. And the way fasteners are packed is worse. Everything in one bag. Do yourself a favor and prep before you start. Sit down with a bolt gauge to sort, bag and label all parts before you start. It will save time. Read the instructions multiple times. Once you start cutting theres no going back. Overall very happy with the bumper.

Solid Bumper
Sturdy bumper; Has a place for bolts be installed onto of grill but will need something other than the stock grill to fit. It will block the PCS sensor causing an alarm which can be disengaged at the steering wheels settings. Fog lights are recommended into getting a stronger bulb (19,000 Lumins) for better view. Recommend keeping parts of the OEM bumper and cut it to make a flush fir with the bumper, a good sealing compound can close the gaps .

A: Yes, you would need to remove the plate to gain access to parts that are reached from the undercarriage. This was designed with removable mounting bolts so it can be removed and installed again for necessary service.
