Seems great but only in certain applications

Seems this axle shaft would be great for drum brakes, but was unable to install with disc brakes due to no socket hole for installation. I'm still giving it 4 stars; would be 5 if this Alloy USA wrote about this in their description.

Not good

The holes on plate not the ones to install studs were threaded and too small to put a 3/8 drive set in to tighten the 4 nuts that hold the axle shaft in place. In addition the holes were not aligned even if they were big enough. You have to remove the E brake shoes to tighten the nuts which takes a lot longer. Nothing like the OEM shaft.

Alloy axle shaft

The axle shaft worked, but it did not have the hole on the end to access the nuts for the axle retainer plate. This made it difficult to assemble.

Perfect fit

Was a little confused at first because was was delivered didn't match the website photos. Missing decals, no marking on the axles no paper work at all other than a tag with a number on it. Called and check and the person confirmed the part number on the tag was alloy usa part number for the axle. Other than that the grade 8 bolts I bought separately screwed in with no issues and the axle fit perfectly.

Very easy to install

Very durable axles Only downside is you have to press the bearings on but not to hard!

great axles

They really take a beating. I've been pretty hard on them for testing purposes.........thumbs up!!!!!!

Awesome axle shafts

They are very stron Axle shafts. They are worth the money spent to get a stronger axle. They have been thru a lot of abuse and have not gave me any problems.

Beefy

Definitely a beefier axle shaft. Figured I'd change them while regearing to 4.56s. Completely happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I needed

Exactly what i needed fast shipping at a competitive price. only gripe is everything that requires a press needs to be pressed on so you better have a GOOD press because yikes its tight. I had to use the big press at work. also be careful how far you shove the anti skid/ gear looking do hickey thing on as it will go on MUCH farther than needed. but yeah good stuff. call and talk to a human these dudes are super cool! gave me a shirt... i did drop some cash but hey free shirt.
