Description
Intake. AIRAID's MXP cold air intake system features a roto-molded polyethylene airbox that seals against the hood, forming a tight enclosure. The airbox features massive air inlets that are positioned to allow only the coolest outside air inside the box while preventing heat from your Jeep's engine and radiator affect performance.
Filter Specs. The MXP uses AIRAID's SynthaFlow air filter which is a cotton gauze and synthetic blend that outperforms plain cotton gauze filters in clean air testing. The SynthaFlow features five layers of filtration, 4 layers of cotton gauze supplemented by the last layer of defense, a 5th layer of synthetic media that produces the cleanest air of any washable filter. This filter is over 99% efficient, meaning it allows more airflow while filtering out dirt particles ordinary filters let pass. You get better performance without sacrificing filtration.
Additional Features. This MXP air intake system includes all the hardware you'll need for the installation, and you will not need to do any drilling or cutting. This system will give your Wrangler a boost in overall performance by increasing air flow and horsepower. AIRAID backs this kit with their lifetime warranty for your added peace of mind and protection.
50 State Legal. This Jeep Wrangler Cold Air Intake System is legal for use in all 50 states, including California, on Carb EO# D-609-17.
Application. This cold air intake system fits 2007 - 2011 Wrangler JKs with the 3.8L engine.
