Will Only Fit 2WD Models
Replace the faulty stock catalytic converter with the all new aFe POWER direct-fit cat replacement for the Toyota Tacoma 2WD with V6-4.0L engine. This cat replacement is constructed of mandrel-bent, 100% MIG welded stainless steel for strength and durability. This product is an EPA Compliant cat and 3/8" thick flanges for a secure hassle-free installation. This cat replacement is designed as a one piece system that retains the factory O2 sensor and hanger locations for a direct bolt-on and go solution.
Stainless Steel Construction:This system is constructed of durable mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum performance, corrosion resistance and strength, eliminating cracking.
Factory Mounting Locations:Utilizes factory mounting locations and utilizes factory style flanges making it a true bolt-on system.

Fit was a huge problem
This Afe part does not bolt up the flanges are totally different on the Magnaflow extension to the muffler see pics and on to add to the misfit the extension up to system was short by a foot! Luckily we located the correct matching flange then welded it onto the correct extension that goes to the magnaflow muffler see photos!!

Works great. Lines up to the exhaust header perfect. However, the hanger was welded on the wrong side.

Doable for the average guy
This is a fairly involved install. It is doable for the average guy with a few tools, but It will take most of the day. The flares on the Cats to the Exhaust manifold is a bit tricky to get everything lined up and all the bolts started. I used a ratchet strap and some wood blocks to get everything lined up and in place. But for half the price of some other options this was worth it.

Easy to install
Item was just as easy to install as advertised with plenty of room for cat back exhaust to be installed. Just take the time to measure and cut the original out and slip the front end on so that the hanger fits like OEM.

High quality and great fit for a reasonable price
Just installed the aFe mid pipe, front catalytic converter replacement for Jeep Wrangler from 00-03. It is a perfect fit in a 2003 TJ with automatic and stock suspension height. I am impressed with the thickness of the material the pipes are made from and all the welds are perfect. The flanges all lined up perfectly and it bolted right in with no need for any adjustments. Time to install is low as I have access to a lift and air tools. I did it in less than a day, but could probably do it in a weekend in the driveway.

Works great. I was able to install in less than 20 minutes. Foe some reason my exaust was rubbing the frame and hard to get lined up at the y pipe. It solved my issues and sounds great too

Axle Back Exhaust
I am over all pleased with this exhaust. The install was easy and quick (20-25 min... getting the old exhaust off took most the time)with the right tools. The sound is great and not to loud. When you fire up the Jeep it will make you smile. The sound while on the gas is noticeable but not crazy. I added the AFE throttle body spacer and cold air intake. I'm not sure if i can tell a performance gain because of this... but it sounds great and looks good.

Unleash the beast…
Install was super easy minus rusty bolts on the OEM pipe. Lost a lil MPG due to my heavy foot but this thing is a lil improve ment that you can feel especially with a cold air intake. Manufacture quality it top notch.
