      Description

      Enhanced Airflow for High Engine Boost. Experience a significant improvement in your Tacoma’s performance by installing an AFE Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake. This Cold Air Intake outflows the factory intake by as much as 106%, with a power increase of up to 10 horsepower and torque gains of up to 13 pound-feet. The enhanced cold air intake delivers more oxygen for a more efficient power-generating combustion. This Momentum GT Intake System also includes an air box, intake tube, and air filter – all designed to deliver outstanding power gains and fuel efficiency.

      Five-Layer Performance Air Filter. The 8-inch tall conical air filter features a 5-layer air filter of progressively finer oiled, washable cotton mesh for maximum air flow and efficient filtration capacity. The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for optimum filter size that maximizes the available air volume. The massive, round flange allows excellent air movement and a leak-free seal.

      Premium Construction. AFE ensures the high quality of this Momentum GT intake system by using black cross-linked polyethylene for the CAD-designed, roto-molded housing. This 1-piece air box features a built-in sight window for easier filter inspection without disassembly. The intake tube is of high-quality plastic, dyno-tuned, roto-molded construction for a more efficient airflow. An auxiliary scoop is also included to bring in more air, but can be intentionally blocked using the urethane plug for cold weather applications.

      Bolt-On Installation. AFE designed this Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake for a straightforward installation that reuses factory mounting locations. The installation process completes in 1 hour using basic hand tools.

      Two-Year Limited Warranty. Advanced Flow Engineering, Inc. warranties its intake systems to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years, provided the intake system was installed in an AFE recommended application according to AFE installation instructions, with the air filter properly cleaned using AFE cleaning solution and oil.

      Not CARB Certified. This AFE Momentum GT Black Pro 5R Cold Intake is not CARB certified at this time. It is legal in California for use on race vehicles only. The use of this device on vehicles used on public streets or highways is strictly prohibited in California and others states that have adopted California emission regulations.

      Application. This Momentum GT Black Pro 5R Cold Intake is designed by AFE to fit 2005-2011 4.0L Toyota Tacoma models.
