Description
Superior Stock Air Flow. Get maximum air flow out of your stock system with the AFE Super Stock Induction System with Pro DRY S Filter in Black. Like most cold air intakes, this assembly features a high-flow air filter and a computer-designed intake tube. Unlike most intakes, this unit’s air filter is configured to take up your whole factory air box. In doing so, this air intake assembly improves air flow by 4% to deliver larger amounts of cold air into your engine. The result is more complete fuel combustion, giving you practical boosts in horsepower and torque.
Re-Tuning your ECU Not Necessary. This AFE cold air intake will not require you to re-tune your ECU for you to enjoy its gains in performance. That said, it’s still a good idea to re-tune your ECU in the future as this will optimize the performance potential of this intake with your engine.
High-Efficiency Pro DRY S Air Filter Included. This cold air intake features a specially designed Pro DRY S air filter engineered for efficient filtration that doesn’t compromise air flow. Specifically, this filter utilizes a 3-layer synthetic filter media with a novel inverted design that’s meant to conform to the depth of your factory air box. This design works to provide up to 99.2% filtration efficiency as well as a higher airflow rate over stock.
Resilient Build Quality. This cold air intake’s air intake tube is made from cross-linked polyethylene for exceptional durability and resistance to deterioration due to engine bay heat. Moreover, this intake tube is crafted following a computer-generated design, ensuring turbulence-free air flow. Finally, this assembly is available in black.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This cold air intake is designed mount into your factory air system’s location with the filter installing into your factory air box. No additional drilling or other modifications are necessary. Also, installation is completed using the factory hardware and standard hand tools.
