Good idea

Will this do anything noticeable...no. In fact the first 100 or so miles I averaged 1 mpg less than average, on highway. I'm not sure if the ecu needed to recalibrate. But now I get about .5 mpg more on average after about 1000 miles. I like this because it "helps" and keeps the nearly water tight intake system. Also I can just clean this puppy instead of replacing it.

Easy to install. Removed original air filter and installed AFE replacement air filter in less than 10 minutes.

The AFE Air Filter is great it fits perfectly only took a few minutes to install and looks great and I love how I can clean it and use it for the life of the rig without having to buy another air filter again!

Put this on same time as Flowmaster outlaw cat back . Breathes like dream along with the 3 inch exhaust. Air is what you want, Breathe Easy

Mucho surface area

Not a whole lot to say. It's a drop in air filter. It fits. It provides a whole lot of surface area. It will work with a snorkel, I think, if I decide to go with one down the road. I didn't do the calculations but it looks like it has more surface area than a flat filter.

Looks Good

It looks better than the stock one, can't really complain about more air flow.
