Nice Addition

I debate over this and a CAI. For now this works fine. One of the first mods I make. Did notice a little more purr from the engine and exhaust. Not sure if it helps with gas milage, getting 20 +/- with 35s. Engine is peppy though.

AFE Momentum Install

Overall the install is straightforward The most difficult part was getting the air temperature sensor back into the grommet as it tends to push through the hole.

Great quality

Well constructed. Fits great without modification. Can't slide it in-and-out, like the OEM filter, without disconnecting the top of the airbox from the intake to the throttle-body. Will take that tradeoff for more filter surface area! Appears to be a little louder in the OEM airbox.

Great filter, I've tried every brand and this is my favorite of all of them for cold air untakes

2021 Wrangler Rubicon

This AFE carbon cabin air filter is definitely a much better filter than the factory filter. The filter is a little tricky to fit, as it's stiffer than the OEM. Just need to carefully slide in on an angled and push to let the filter compress a little like an accordion upon fully inserting. Also, suggest before inserting new filter clean and/or vacuum the inside of cabin.

Sounds Nice, Looks Great

Installation was pretty straight forward and instructions were helpful. Only part that gets tricky is installing the AFE sensor tube and seal. Once I was able to figure that out, the rest was a breeze. Took about 45 minutes, and needed minimal tools. Looks amazing under the hood and the sound it has when revving is legit.

AFE review

It fits perfectly and was very easy to instal. The only complaint I have was how this random metal rod by this sensor came in the parts but didn’t seem to fit anywhere. So I did not include that when installing. The instructions didn’t mention it at all, and how it is pictured it won’t fit back into place when installing the intake. It’s like in the back by the manifold. So I didn’t add it. And so far no problems. Fingers crossed! Aside from that I felt my torque DROP, however the Jeep accelerates WAY quicker now. My gas mileage has gone up and it sounds amazing. It sounds like it’s breathing through a snorkel and you can tell the engine is FINALLY getting some air. I love it! I recommend this product to anyone on the fence.
