AFE designed this intake system to deliver additional horsepower and torque both for your daily drives and all-terrain adventures. It also outflows the factory intake by 17% and facilitates better driveability as this cold air intake delivers a higher volume of cooler, denser air at a faster rate.
Computer Re-Tuning Not Required. This Cold Air Intake with Pro DRY S Filter needs no aftermarket tune to operate. The stock tune is fully adequate to correctly run the intake system and match the rest of your vehicle’s engine.
Pro DRY S Filter. Built with enhanced filtration technology, the Pro DRY S Filter in this intake system exhibits high durability and optimum filtration capacity. Its 3-layered, oil-free synthetic media is designed to significantly increase the air volume directed to the system for maximum airflow while maintaining high filtration efficiency.
Premium Components. AFE engineered this Rapid Induction Cold Air Intake system with a CAD-designed, open element design air intake housing made of black polyethylene that exhibits excellent heat insulation and durability. It uses a high-strength, wrinkle-black powder-coated steel intake tube for more efficient airflow and visual appeal. Durable stainless steel clamps and a silicone coupler are also included for a secure installation and a tight and leak-proof connection.
Straightforward, Drill-Free Installation. Designed to mount using your car’s factory mounting points, this Rapid Induction Cold Air Intake requires no drilling or other modification. The straightforward installation completes using standard hand tools and requires light to moderate mechanical skills.

Great instructikns
This kit was a great install. Not perfect as i had to modify the mat sensor mount because quality control did not find the broken screw hole. But i fixed it with som washers and re-gluing in the nut. Great detailed instruction booklet

I was happy ai ordered this air intake, it showed up quickly, packaged good, and easy install. It definitely changed the sound of my engine and I can feel a slight difference in performance which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Enclosed System
It doesn't look like it in the pictures, but it is an enclosed system. I prefer that with my diesel engine. Everything seems as advertised. Easy install, and it came out nice.

Quick and easy
Extremely easy aftermarket exhaust to install. READ THE INSTRUCTION FIRST. In combination with an AFE Power axel back exhaust, my jeep has a nice throaty growl. No noticeable increase in engine noise, but the exhaust probably drowns that out. Only think I notice in combination with the exhaust is some gurgling sounds from the exhaust on downshift on low rpms. Not all the time but noticeable after I ran without the intake for a week.

This product was definitely worth the money! easy install only took me and my son about an afternoon to install and they didn't require any tuning, etc. my son has told me that he has been averaging about 1-2 MPG more than previous and can definitely notice a small power difference
