Installation guide: Adams driveshaft extreme duty rear 1310 solid CV Driveshaft (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

Remove the old driveshaft by taking the 8 bolts on the differential side off with the 5/16 wrench.

Remove the bolts on the transfer case with the 5/16 wrench.

With a 1 ¼ socket remove the flange nut on the transfer case. Then with a hammer tap off the transfer case yoke or use a yoke puller.

Remove the O-ring from the old transfer case yoke and place it into the new one.

Install the new yoke on the transfer case and apply some silicone on the back side of the nut and some red locktight on the threads. Torque the nut down to 160 ft pounds.

With the impact gun and a 1 ¼ socket remove the pinion nut on the differential. Once the nut is off tap on the back of the yoke with a hammer to remove it.

Install the new yoke on the rear differential, apply some silicone on the washer and install it facing the differential side then apply red locktight to the nut threads. Tighten down the nut with an impact gun (do not over tight it).

Install the new driveshaft, apply some red locktight to the 4 bolts that go on the transfer case side yoke and tight them down using a 5/16, 12 point end wrench.

Install the rear u-joint into the pinion yoke on the differential side then install the 2 u-bolts to hold it in place. Use a ½” wrench and tighten down the u-bolt nuts. Make sure to tight them even on both sides (do not over tight).

CONGRATULATIONS! You just installed one of the best driveshafts!
