There are tons of exciting new features and design details in the new 2018 JL Wrangler, the first of the freshly launched fourth generation of modern Jeep Wranglers, and the videos by Extreme Terrain’s Ryan Huck give you a unique early look you won’t find elsewhere. You can get all the details here, based on our in-house 2018 JL Sahara – including the exterior redesign whose increased grille and windshield rake and rear semi-spoiler on the hardtop gives a welcome boost to the JL’s gas mileage. Our videos also show more exterior changes, such as the engine vents behind the front wheel wells. Many tried and true Jeep features carry over – removable doors and fold-down windshield, for example. However, the windshield now leaves a hoop in place to support the rear-view mirror, while the doors are lightweight aluminum to make it easier to remove or reattach them (and save some extra fuel by lightening the vehicle). 

Our videos give you a tour of the JL’s interior, which is now almost as comfortable and feature-rich as a standard passenger car’s interior. Improved seats, a redesigned dash, climate control with several zones, and plenty of digital displays change the interior experience to something a bit less rugged but better suited to daily driving as well as wheeling and rock-crawling.
