    Description

    Specs. Rugged Ridge's Hood Lift Kit is a big upgrade to your Wrangler's hood. The prop rod is positioned in such a way that it gets in your way and makes it hard to reach some parts of the engine. This kit replaces the prop rod with gas shocks and brackets that make it far easier to lift your hood, and keep it propped up while offering clear, open, free access to the engine. These parts are easy to install and will make working in your Wrangler's engine an unexpected pleasure.

    Construction. The Hood Lift Kit by Rugged Ridge is made out of steel and includes a black finish where appropriate to baffle rust and corrosion. The two lifts included are gas-charged to provide easy opening. This is an upgrade from the factory hood prop. All mounting hardware is included. The kit comes with Rugged Ridge's five year limited warranty against defects.

    Application. Fits 1976-2006 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, Wrangler YJ and TJ Models.
