    Description

    Specs. One of the most important parts on your engine is the timing chain. It keeps the valvetrain working in perfect harmony with the pistons below. If there's even a fraction of a second difference between them, the intake or exhaust valves could get smashed by one of the pistons, resulting in a massively expensive problem. A timing chain needs to be replaced every 60,000 miles, and this Omix-ADA timing chain kit comes with everything you'll need to keep your Wrangler running strong. You'll get an OE spec steel timing chain, a new timing chain sprocket, and a nylon tipped cam sprocket. The single row timing chain can withstand the extreme power demands of trail riding while the nylon tipped camshaft gear will keep the timing chain spinning smoothly and quietly.

    Application. This timing chain is for 1976-1990 4.2L Jeep CJ5, CJ7 and Wrangler YJ Models.
