Stronger and Beefier. Factory equipped with a Dana 44 rear differential you would think your TJ Wrangler could take on just about anything mother nature could throw at it. But unfortunately, the stock steel axle shafts are prone to bend or snap particularly when running larger diameter aftermarket tires. It is just for this reason that Mammoth 4x4 manufactures their Rear Axle Shafts from 4140 chromoly to handle the added load oversized all-terrain tires add to the equation. Much stronger than stock, these Mammoth 4x4 Rear Axles can easily manage the abuses associated with serious off-roading.

4140 Chromoly Construction. These Mammoth 4x4 Rear Axle assemblies are considerably stronger than their OEM counterparts. Manufactured from 4140 chromoly alloy, which is harder and lighter than traditional steel, these Rear Axles are heat treated to obtain maximum strength. Mammoth then completes their Axles in a black oxide finish for long lasting corrosion protection.

Complete Kit. This Mammoth 4x4 Rear Axle Kit comes complete and includes all hardware necessary for installation. The Kit includes both driver and passenger side Axle Assemblies, ABS Rings, Wheel Bearings, Seals, and Wheel Studs.

Application. These Mammoth 4x4 Rear Axles are available for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models equipped with a Dana 44.
